Citroen chills out in mini MPV

February 2008
Spy shots capture heavily disguised Citroen Minispace on test

There's not a lot to see other than the general profile, but these recent shots by spy photographers Carparazzi taken in the chill of northern Scandinavia definitely capture Citroen's forthcoming C3 Minispace five-seat MPV.

Smaller than the Picasso, the Minispace crams a lot into its compact overall dimensions.

The little Citroen was previewed by the C3 StreetLounge which did the show circuits in 2006.

The Minispace will enter a category on a growth spurt in Europe, where vehicles such as the Skoda Roomster – just introduced to Australia – are experiencing an enthusiastic reception from small car buyers.

It is likely that powerplant availability of the Minispace will echo that of the current range of petrol and turbodiesel engines available within the PSA group, spanning from 1.1 to 1.6 litres.

The Citroen Minispace is tipped for a European introduction some time in 2009.
Australia? Let's see how the Roomster goes first.
