These are not photographs of wind-blown refuse in the local Safeway supermarket. According to spy pic meisters Carparazzi, they are actually shots of the next Renault Scenic (white wrapping) and Citroen C3 Minispace (black wrapping).
Obviously an attempt to prove whether or not French development engineers are capable of fighting their way out of a plastic bag, the next generation MPVs were caught littering the roadside somewhere in rural France.
We're taking Carparazzi's word for it, but the white bag is claimed to contain the next version of the Scenic to be unwrapped in five and seven-seat form in 2009, while the black bag holds a scaled-down Picasso-style MPV inspired by the Citroen StreetLounge concept seen in 2006 and also due on European supermarket shelves in 2009.
Both carmakers are known to be green-minded, but obviously right now neither Renault nor Citroen are saying 'No' to plastic bags.
