The Citroen Berlingo will be sold in two wheelbases when the new model of the light van goes on sale in Australia, later this year.

Citroen importer, Ateco Automotive, will fill the gap between the standard wheelbase Berlingo light van and the larger Citroen Dispatch model with the longer wheelbase Berlingo -- the first time a stretched wheelbase model has been offered in the range.

The extra length in the wheelbase raises the Berlingo's cargo-carrying capacity from 3.3 to 3.7 cubic metres and -- with the folding front passenger seat lowered -- the capacity is raised again to 4.1 cubic metres.
